Abel Ferreira (born 22 December 1978) is a Portuguese footballer, currently playing for Sporting Lisbon. He used to play for Sporting de Braga. He transferred to Sporting Lisbon in a deal involving Wender, a Brazilian left winger. He is the first-choice right-back in the Lisbon-based club.
