Adam F (born Adam Fenton) is one of the world's premiere jungle/drum and bass DJs, son to Alvin Stardust and stepson of Liza Goddard.
His breakthrough hit was the techstep classic
Metropolis/Mother Earth, released in 1997 on the Metalheadz record label. What is considered to be his greatest early work is his Drum & Bass/Jazz fusion "Circles", with its unique structure and build, and famous bassline. Even today it is still played by numerous DJs. In 1998, he won a MOBO award for his debut album
Colours. In 2001, he found success in the field of hip hop, primarily with his ground breaking collaborative musical effort
KAOS - The anti-acoustic warfare. In 2002, Adam scored the feature film,
Ali G Indahouse starring Sacha Baron Cohen for Working Title Films.
He is founder and co-owner of the UK independent record label Breakbeat Kaos and also co-owner of major drum and bass website Dogs on Acid. He also founded and fronts the UK band, Malpractice. He has to his credit, 12 Top 40 UK singles, 4 Gold and 1 Platinum disc.
In early 2007, Adam was cast in his first film role, the British indie crime thriller
The Heavy. Adam's on-camera career is managed by Hollywood talent manager, Stacey Castro. In December 2007, Adam co-starred in new British feature film
Cuckoo, a thriller about sound and lies co-starring Richard E. Grant and Laura Fraser, directed by Richard Bracewell.
Cuckoo is currently in post-production.
