Aeternus is a death metal band from Bergen, Norway. Biography Aeternus formed in 1993 as a trio, comprised of Ares, Erik Vrolok, and Morrigan. In 1999, they added guitarist Radek, and their sound moved from black metal toward death metal for 1999's Shadows of Old. Morrigan left the group in 2001, and their first album as a three-piece again was Ascension of Terror.
