Agent M (real name- Emily Grace Whitehurst), born July 23, 1979 grew up in Los Banos and was the lead singer of the California based punk band Tsunami Bomb until their breakup in October of 2005. She is the sister of fellow musician, the late Logan Whitehurst. Whitehurst joined Tsunami Bomb in 1998 after the departure of original vocalist Kristin McRory. Whitehurst adopted the stage name Agent M at this time, and used it throughout her stay in the band. In 2000, Tsunami Bomb signed to Tomato Head Records and released their debut EP The Invasion from Within!, which would prove to be the top-selling release of the band's career. Their first full-length CD, The Ultimate Escape, followed in 2002. In 2004, the band released a final recording, The Definitive Act, on Kung Fu Records. Tsunami Bomb split up the following year.
