Akrobatik
Akrobatik (real name Jared Bridgeman) is a rapper who hails from the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He has collaborated numerous times with many fellow Boston rappers, and recently formed a hip hop collective named The Perceptionists with Mr. Lif and Fakts One.

Akrobatik has gained respect on the Boston hip-hop scene and beyond by combining political consciousness with battle style aggressiveness in his lyrics.

Akrobatik is featured on Snacky Chan's album Part of the Nation, as well as in the popular Playstation 2 game Amplitude, where he raps in the song, "Out the Box", as well as providing voiceovers for tutorials.

His song "Remind My Soul" was independently ranked as the 83rd best rap song of all time.[1]

Akrobatik raps the daily sports news to Boston via the "Sports Wrap-Up", broadcast on the Ramiro and Pebbles Morning Show, on Boston hip-hop radio station JAM'N 94.5.

In December of 2005, Akrobatik signed to Fat Beats Recordshttp://prod1.cmj.com/articles/display_article.php?id=7047258. He intends to release a new album entitled Absolute Value on February 19th, 2008 (see Absolute Value ).

Jared attended The Roxbury Latin School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
