Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978) is an English singer, MC, songwriter and television personality. After finding fame in the all-girl trio Mis-Teeq, she is expected to release her debut solo album in 2008 after the the initial release of the album Fired Up was cancelled. On December 22 2007 she was crowned winner of the popular TV show Strictly Come Dancing after scoring near full marks with the judges and out performing runner-up Matt Di Angelo. Alesha is now currently in the process of making her new album, which will be out in Asia whilst she is on a tour out there. She hopes to take her time on the album and put it in shops in the uk in the summer. Biography Alesha is one of seven children born to an English mother and Jamaican father.
