    Angela Gheorghiu (born Angela Burlacu) (born September 7, 1965) is a Romanian opera singer and one of the most famous and internationally acclaimed contemporary sopranos. Biography The daughter of a train driver, Gheorghiu () was born in Adjud, Romania.
