Their main performance genre is medieval music, although they have also premiered works by living composers such as John Tavener and Steve Reich. The group is made up of Marsha Genensky, Susan Hellauer, Johanna Maria Rose, and [LINK: http://www.jacquelinehorner.com] Jacqueline Horner. Marsha grew up in California in the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains; Susan was born and raised in the Bronx, New York; Johanna grew up in the village of Grand-View-on-Hudson; and Jacqueline is from a village in Northern Ireland called Monkstown; according to her biography on the quartet's website [LINK: http://www.anonymous4.com/newmeet.htm] [1], she won her Green Card in the Diversity Immigrant Visa program (commonly known as the "Green Card Lottery").
