Armor for Sleep is an American band from Maplewood and Teaneck, New Jersey.
Lead singer Ben Jorgensen recorded the first ever Armor for Sleep songs in
exchange for $100 at a nearby recording studio, playing all the
instruments by himself, after leaving the band Random Task, in which he
played drums. The original line up of Armor For Sleep included two of
Ben's high school friends AJ Resnick and Paul Abrahamian. Later on Ben and
Anthony fired AJ and Paul, and asked Nash Breen, drummer of Prevent Falls,
to join Armor for Sleep. Nash quit Prevent Falls and asked his cousin,
P.J. DeCicco, also of Prevent Falls to come with him to Armor for Sleep.
The band was originally signed to Equal Vision Records and released their
first two albums with them, but as of April 2006, Armor for Sleep are now
signed to Warner Brothers/Sire Records.
A Machine Shop remix of their track "Remember to Feel Real" was featured
on the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack in
