Asia 2001, a trance music project from France, consists of members Martin
Cooper and Florian Seriot. Asia 2001 have been producing music since the
beginning of the 1990s, since trance first achieved widespread recognition
as a genre. The group places emphasis on melody and aims to produce strong,
atmospheric music.
Asia 2001 originate from the south of France, where they produce most of
their music at their private studio 'The Stargate'. Backing Asia 2001 is
Martin Cooper, also known as Loren-X, who in the past has released albums
on R&S, Polygram, F-Com and Distance.
Martin Cooper established Trans Pact Productions in 1992 with his wife
Thaisha. Shortly after, he released ?Fly in Rajasthan?, which received
public acclaim. Trans`Pact has released numerous singles and albums,
including Spectral?s 'Trance O 10 C', which was followed by the release
?Goa Exit?, Transwave?s first single.
