    Black Child
    Black Child (born September 14 1976) is an American singer and rapper. Born Ramel Gill in Brooklyn, New York City, according to his Black and White song on Irv Gotti's first compilation, he was raised in Hollis, Queens, New York City. Jam Master Jay Records signed Black Child in 1993, while Jay was still interested in Child's lyrical style and ability. Black remained on the label for two years before being imprisoned for five years. In the first few hours out of jail, Black Child contacted Ja Rule, who gave him the opportunity to prove himself by reciting his lyrics to Irv Gotti. Black was first heard on Ja Rule's "Holla Holla" remix featuring Caddillac Tah, Busta Rhymes, Jay Z, Memphis Bleek, and Vita. He also appeared on Venni Vetti Vecci, Ja Rule's first album. Black Child toured with Ja Rule, and confirmed his position in 1999 in the group Murderers, teaming with Caddillac Tah, Vita, O1, and Ja Rule who
