    Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert "Bobby" Cassotto, May 14 1936 – December 20, 1973) was one of the most popular American big band performers and rock and roll teen idols of the late 1950s. Darin is widely respected for being a multi-talented, versatile performer who conquered many music genres, including folk, country, pop, and jazz. He was also an award-winning actor, songwriter and music business entrepreneur.
