Bright Calm Blue are a D.I.Y. 4-piece band from Lincoln, Nebraska. From the beginning to Asymmetry Set, they were a pure screamo. With the release and debut on Level Plane Records ("A Direct Approach For A Casual Conversation EP"), the band has taken on more of a math rock style into their music. Even small hints of Dance-punk influence can be found in the EP. Despite new vocalists with more melody to their voice and a change in music stylings, the band at heart is still a screamo band, but a very original and creative one at that.
