    Burden Brothers
    The Burden Brothers are a Dallas-based rock band. The band was formed by singer/guitarist Vaden Todd Lewis (formerly of Toadies) and drummer Patrick "Taz" Bentley (formerly of Reverend Horton Heat, Tenderloin, and the Izzy Stradlin Band) in 2002. In the beginning, Lewis and Bentley would use a revolving-door of musicians to help them record EPs that would be released indepently. They released three EPs throughout 2002 in this manner, 8 Ball, Queen O' Spades and Beautiful Night. They ended up keeping Corey Rozzoni (formerly of Clumsy) on guitar and Casey Orr (formerly of Ministry and GWAR among others) on bass, becoming somewhat of a Texas supergroup as everyone in the band had previously played with other Texas-based bands. Next, they signed with Kirtland Records and released their first album, Buried in Your Black Heart, in 2003.
