    Christine Guldbrandsen (born 19th March 1985 in Bergen, Norway) is a singer who is best-known internationally for being the Norwegian entrant in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, and across Scandinavia for her three albums Surfing in the Air, Moments and Christine. Biography Christine was discovered at the age of 13 by Kjetil Fluge. When she was 15, Christine signed with the production company Sounds Familiar in Bergen. When she was 16, her father died, which led her to write her first lyrics: "Fly Away". She loves skiing and fast cars. She says it is a pity she doesn't have the time for her hobbies because music takes a lot of her time. "It is a sacrifice I am willing to make", she says. When she describes her private life she says: she is a normal girl with normal interests. Her leisure time is divided between her family, friends and daily chores.
