A cadaver or corpse is a dead human body. "Cadaver" is normally used as a more formal name for a body being used in medical training or research. What are Cadavers Used for Today? Today the average cadaver is used for a plethora of experiments and in anatomy labs. Cadavers can be used to test bullets and compare the physiological effect of bullets on bones and organs. Most cadavers are used in anatomy labs, where medical students learn anatomy by dissecting the body.
