Biography


Cosmicity is a synthpop music project by programmer/keyboardist/songwriter/singer Mark Nicholas. Mark derived the name Cosmicity from a combination of two words: cosmic and electricity. Cosmicity has played several American electronic music festivals, alongside bands such as And One, The Crüxshadows and Melotron. Mark's songs have appeared on more than 30 electronic music compilations next to bands like Information Society and Cause & Effect. History Mark Nicholas, the sole member of Cosmicity, took a realistic interest in music at the late age of fifteen. He was accepted into The University of Michigan School Of Music to study music and technology. He received his degree in May of 1995. Cosmicity released about a dozen albums between 1994 and 2003, most of them under the American synthpop label A Different Drum.
