Crimpshrine was a punk rock band from Berkeley, California, United States. It was formed by the founder of the seminal punk rock zine Cometbus, Aaron Cometbus and a friend, Jeff Ott. The band's origins go back to 1982. Within D.I.Y. communities, the band is often considered as one of the most important pop-punk bands, especially in the Bay Area scene. However, due to their relative obscurity, many pop-punk fans outside of the D.I.Y. communities rarely even recognize the band.
