Darren Styles, born Darren Mew (1975 in Colchester, Essex) is a Happy Hardcore British DJ, Record Producer and Song Writer, who achieved success touring at events such as Hardcore Heaven and Hardcore Paradise. He forms half of the hardcore duo Styles & Breeze (with Mark Breeze). Styles has worked and featured on many Hardcore albums throughout his career as a DJ. Early Career Encouraged from quite an early age by his father, an avid blues fan, Styles had always possessed a passionate craving for music. Many late nights were spent learning to play the keyboard. In 1992, during a wintry February night in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, Styles had his first "hands on" experience of the then underground rave scene - at "Oscars Nightclub" situated on Clacton Pier. This initial exposure instigated a desire to be at the heart of such a community. Darren was brought up in Frinton On Sea In 1993 along with friend Paul Hobbs aka DJ Force
