Das Pop is a Belgian pop music band, founded in 1994 by Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul, Lieven Moors and Bent Van Looy. They were initially called Things to come, but changed their name to Das Pop as Tom Keskens joined. Das Pop became internationally known with their 2000 album I Love (I?). Their music is a mix of pop rock and electronica. Tom Keskens and Lieven Moors left the band. Live they are joined by a drummer, so Bent can play the keys and sing. Their second album The Human Thing involves less electronica and has a considerably more mature sound. Right now they are working on their third album, which is being produced by David and Stephen Dewaele from Soulwax. They have a considerable Belgian fanbase.
