Dave Weiner (born on September 24, 1976) is an American guitarist. He is
most widely known for being one of Steve Vai's touring guitarists.
Joining Steve Vai Dave first joined Steve's band when he went to Los
Angeles to go to GIT. During his time here he got a job as an intern for an
office and his boss at this office knew Steve Vai. He would deliever paper
to Steve's house, and Dave got to know him personally. About two weeks
later his boss got a phone call from Steve Vai and was asked to come over
to Steve's studio, learn fourteen songs, and go on tour with him. [LINK:

Steve Vai on Vai's personal tours as well as with G3.
Solo Dave has also released a solo album, entitled Shove the Sun Aside.
It was released originally in June of 2004 on the Meyer Jane Music label,
