Unrelated to the hip hop musician DMX. Davy DMX is the stage name of David Reeves, a pioneer of hip-hop music. His career began in his hometown of Queens, New York as a DJ in the late 1970s. He is mostly known for his popular single "One for the Treble" released in 1984. This song was also included on the rap station in the video game Vice City.
