Death Machine is a 1994 sci-fi action horror film starring a largely unknown cast, written and directed by Stephen Norrington, who filmed it before his other, more known film, Blade. The movie falls into a B-rated category due to its seemingly unoriginal content and relatively low budget and therefore not quite spectacular visual effects. Cast is also mostly unknown, and at the time of the release did not have any "big" names besides, perhaps, Brad Dourif. Rachel Weisz, who had a cameo appearance in the movie became more known after her role in The Mummy, and Richard Brake has been appearing in minor roles lately, in Batman Begins, and the later Doom movie. The film was originally released in Britain on VHS as a direct to video feature, and also was released in Japan on Laser disc. Later numerous DVD releases were made as well.
