Devante is an American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist from Modesto, CA.Born November 20, 1982. His first album, 'Ready or Not' was released on Tripplatinum Entertainment in 2003 to moderate consumer fanfare, though the album ultimately went under the radar of the mainstream media due to the lack of major label investments and marketing. Singles off of the debut effort included "Unconditional (Thankful pt. II)," and "Assumptions (Remix)," which was originally featured on Universal/Interscope Records' Farmclub in 2000. The album version was a re-recorded and re-released version. His second album, entitled The Foundation was released on February 20th, 2007. Originally scheduled for a Valentine's Day release, the album had to be pushed back due to distributor time constraints and media campaigning.
