Fresh (real name Dan Stein) is a UK-based drum and bass artist, and one of the principal members of Bad Company. He is widely known for his talents as both a DJ and producer, and considered among the most popular and influential British junglists. Along with the three other members of Bad Company, he founded a record label, BC Recordings, as well as the website Dogs on Acid. Starting initially as the group's official website, it has evolved to become one of the premier drum and bass websites, and claims to have the biggest dance music forums in the world. In resuming his solo career in 2002, Fresh founded Breakbeat Punk, which after only one release merged with Adam F's Kaos Recordings to become Breakbeat Kaos in 2003.
