Dolcenera, real name Emanuela Trane (born in Galatina, Italy, on May 16, 1977), is an Italian singer. Career Emanuela Trane was born in Galatina in 1977, but she has lived for 18 years in Scorrano, where her parents come from. Her career began like those of most authentic musicians: with a lot of struggle. But, she worked hard and the success came. She took part in the selection of the competition Destinazione Sanremo on the channel Rai 2 in 2002 and was invited to participate at the Sanremo Festival. She won in the category Young Section of this very famous festival in 2003 with the track Siamo Tutti Là Fuori and also won the Press, TV and Radio Award.
