Dr. Zeus is the stage name of Baljit Singh, who is a Punjabi Music Director. He gained stardom in India in late 2004 with his hit song "Kangna". He is popular in India, US, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other large Punjabi markets. Dr. Zeus launched his first album in India, also titled Kangna, in late 2004 with HOM Records. "Gwandian Da Dhol" is another hit credited to Dr. Zeus. In the UK, he has three albums to his credit: High Life, Unda the Influence, and Original Edit. He was first to introduce Lehmber Hussainpuri, who later became a leading figure in UK Bhangra. UK Girl Band Rouge had an instant hit with the Dr. Zeus song "Don't be Shy".
