D-Side is an Irish boyband. Established in 2001,by twin doctors and then
management moguls Rory and Eoghan Mac Sweeney, they have had some success
in Japan, the United Kingdom, and Europe, winning Best New Band Award at
the Smash Hits Tour in 2002. The band was originally made up of five
members, Ryan O'Rian, Shane Creevey, Derek Moran, Damien Bowe and Dane
Guiden. It became a threesome, however, when Damien and Dane both left for
personal reasons.
They have had 3 top ten single in the UK, and have supported Blue,
Westlife and numerous other bands on tour during 2003 and 2004, as well as
being involved in Charity events such as Soccer Magic, Soccer 6, Children
in Need and ChildLine, raising money for good causes.
Over the past few years they have been successful in Japan where their
single "Invisible" reached number one. They have released two studio
