Electrico is a band from Singapore playing guitar-based rock n' roll . It plays in the indie scene . Early Years The band was originally formed and went by the name Electric Company in 1996 when David Tan , Keith Colaco , Desmond Goh and William Lim Jr. got together for an event at their church . The band initially practised in a construction container . After three years of working together , the lack of support for Singaporean music and other problems forced Colaco to leave . The loss eventually led Electric Company to disband . Reinvention In 2003 , lead guitarist Daniel Sassoon of the now defunt Singapore indie band Livonia joined Tan , Goh and Lim . Soon after , the band's name was shortened from Electric Company to Electrico . Keyboardist Amanda Ling , the only female in the group , was talent-scouted by the rest of the band members and was the last person to join Electrico . In Augu
