"Eres" (English: You are) is a single off Shakira's Peligro that became her best known in Colombia. The song itself was not a hit, but it had a much better market than any song off Magia, the singer's debut album. History The song was published with the album Peligro, and was after Esta Noche Voy Contigo. However, the song had no single cover, no promotional video, and no requests. Shakira's songs from Colombia were not well recorded, and therefore her fame was not well known until she released her worldwide hit Pies Descalzos in 1995, and then 1996. Performance The song was not well known in Colombia, let alone the rest of the world. Therefore the song was not in the Colombian Singles Charts and was not promoted.
