Firme is the Voodoo Glow Skulls' second full-length album and the first on
Epitaph Records, released on October 10, 1995. "Firme" is chicano slang
meaning "cool" or "hot". All the songs were written by Voodoo Glos Skulls,
except "Charlie Brown" which is a traditional song played by The Coasters.
Firme's lyrics are almost exclusively in English except for the track "El
Coo Cooi", sung entirely in Spanish. Inversely, on 1996's Firme en Espaņol,
an English version of "El Coo Cooi" is the only song not in Spanish.
