From a Second Story Window is a death metal/metalcore band formed in 2002 by the name of Aphasia, but changed it to its current name in 2003, before the release of The Cassandra Complex. They formed in a town called Warren, which borders Ohio and Pennsylvania, thus came the bands slogan "Ohiovania Dudecore". They toured Europe in 2007, along with Walls of Jericho, Born From Pain, Fear My Thoughts, All Shall Perish, and Freya. They are currently signed to the music labels Metal Blade Records and Black Market Activities.
