Gary Schutt (born December 29, 1967, in Monticello, New York) is an American rock multi-instrumentalist best known for being bassist in Jeff Scott Soto's backing band on various tours.However he has been involved in many different projects, including Takara, Dante Catt, Daize Shayne. Also, Gary has always been working on solo projects as well, showing his skills on every instrument. His most recent project is the cover band The Untouchables. His style is typical of heavy metal guitarists of the 1980s. He is influenced by many different bands such as Dream Theater, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, Filter, Freak Kitchen, Hoobastank, Jimmy Eat World, Sevendust and many others that inspire him.
