    Ghetto Concept
    Inspired by artists such as Run-DMC, Whodini, Isaac Hayes and Curtis Mayfield, the hip hop group Ghetto Concept was formed by Kwajo Cinqo (b. Kwajo Boateng), Dolo (b. Lowell Frazier) and Infinite (b. Desmond Francis) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1989. They hail from the Rexdale neighbourhood in Toronto. Their first single "Certified" was released in 1992 by independent label Groove-a-Lot Records. They won Juno Awards in 1995 and 1996 for "Certified" and "E-Z On Tha Motion", respectively.
