Hadise (full name: Hadise Aç?kgöz) is a Turkish-Belgian R&B singer. She won the TMF award for "Best Urban Act" for 2006. Life and career Hadise was born Hadise Aç?kgöz in Mol, Belgium on 22 October 1985 into a Turkish family. Both her parents are from Sivas, a city in central Turkey. She went to a general-education school and after that, gained a BA in Marketing. She was first noticed in the Flemish version of Pop Idol, Idool 2003. Even though Hadise failed to win, she was immediately offered an album contract in recognition of her talent . Soon after, her first single Sweat (feat. Raw Jawz) was released and instantly became a hit, being played constantly on dance radio. The second single Stir me up also was a great success.
