Hannah Fury is an American independently produced singer-songwriter best known for her melancholic recordings inspired by Gregory Maguire's novel Wicked. Biography Hannah began teaching herself piano at the age of 16 after having been inspired by a song that came into her head which she called "The Vampire Waltz." By the early '90s Fury started the process of producing and releasing her own music, starting with a four-song demo tape. Eventually the songs from this tape were developed into a self-released EP titled Soul Poison in 1998. This was soon followed by a full-length album, The Thing That Feels (2000), that was generally met by critical praise. Seven years later, she released her second full-length album, and sixth CD overall, Through the Gash, in August of 2007. To date, all six of her CDs have been released on her independent label
