Hey Negrita
Hey Negrita is an English country blues band formed in London in 2002. They were named after the Rolling Stones song "Hey Negrita"http://www.pennyblackmusic.co.uk/MagSitePages/Article.aspx?id=3682 Interview with Penny Black magazine, 20 August 2005, from the band's 1976 album Black and Blue.

The band have released two albums, the first on an independent label, the second on Universal. They were the subject of a Channel 4 music documentary broadcast in August 2006. Hey Negrita have been on two tours to the United States, and supported Alabama 3 on a U.K. acoustic tour.

  • Paul Sandy — double bass
  • Neil Findlay — drums, percussion
  • Hugo Heimann — piano, vocals, bass (also guitar, banjo, and slide guitar on recordings)
