"Hidden Place" is a song by singer Björk from her 2001 album Vespertine. It introduced the mood of the album well, with minimal soundscapes and quiet, whispery singing. The ascending melody during the chorus of the song borrows from Arnold Schoenberg's piece Verklärte Nacht. The lyrics describe Björk wanting to keep her emotions and relationships to herself.
