    Hugh Mundell (b. 1962; d. 1983) was a Jamaican reggae performer. Hugh was introduced to reggae by his family's neighbor, reggae performer and producer Boris Gardner. With Gardner's assistance Hugh recorded his first single "Where Is Natty Dread?" with producer Joe Gibbs at the age of 13.http://tofuhut.blogspot.com/2005/04/bring-some-peace-and-light-on-this.html A teenage prodigy, he recorded "Africa Must Be Free By 1983" at the age of 16.
