Isocracy

Biography

For other use of the term "Isocracy" see Isocracy . An isocracy is a form of government where all citizens have equal political power. The term derives from Greek "????" meaning "equal" and "???????" meaning "to have power", or "to rule". Isocracy should be incompatible with gerrymandering by class, as at ancient Athens or Rome. Socialism has been described as social isocracy, on the grounds that the influence of wealth prevents genuine equality. Wikipedia could be seen in some ways as an isocracy.
