(Dec, 2006) Cultural Arts Magazine - Rambles In 2004, after years of collaboration with his good friend tabla player Tarun Nayar, guitarist Ivan Tucakov (eevan tutsakov) formed the collective Tambura Rasa. Their musical relationship had initially been a duo setting, merging Tarun's Indian Classical Music knowledge with Ivan's Balkan and Iberian influences. Throughout the years and after joining forces with numerous ethnic musicians and dancers, Tambura Rasa's act has developed into a diverse and unique style of gypsy-world-fusion.
