Jets Overhead are a Canadian rock band who formed in 2003 and are based out of Victoria, British Columbia. Their self-titled debut EP peaked at number 42 on the CMJ music chart. They have played several high profile gigs including Edgefest in 2006, and have opened for Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace after lead singer Raine Maida heard Get it Right. The singer liked the song so much that he reserved a spot on an upcoming War Child Benefit album. Music Surprisingly, Jets Overhead provide all of their music free without royalties on their website. It is their view that in the current day and age, with pirating and illegal peer to peer (P2P) networks for downloading music free of charge, it is easier to provide the music in a free form themselves (though the option is given to buy the album at the regular price or make a donation).
