Joseph Anthony Budden (born August 31, 1980) is an American rapper, born in Spanish Harlem, New York City. Music career Joe Budden initially gained popularity on New York City's influential mixtape circuit and has earned critical acclaim through his Mood Muzik mixtape series. He was also an affiliate of DJ Clue's Desert Storm Records, and maintains a close relationship with artists signed to the label, such as Fabolous. His sole studio album release was the self titledJoe Budden which produced the 2003 summer hit 'Pump It Up'.
