Joe Lewis (born 6 October 1987) is an English footballer who currently plays in goal for Peterborough United, having made a £400k transfer from Norwich City on 8 January 2008. Following a knee injury to Paul Crichton, 16-year-old schoolboy keeper Lewis was handed a first team squad number and a place on the bench for victories over Crystal Palace and Reading in the 2003–04 season. Joe has been with the Canaries from a very early age and was initially spotted by Colin Watts, the Club?s Youth Recruitment Officer. He was formerly a student at Bungay High School. Joe is also a fine cricketer and like other sportsmen in the past has had to make the difficult decision of which discipline to pursue.
