Joseph Mulrey McIntyre (aka Joe McIntyre, Joey McIntyre), born December 31, 1972 in Needham, Massachusetts, is a singer-songwriter and actor. He is best known as the youngest member of the 1980s-1990s group New Kids on the Block (NKOTB). Biography McIntyre is the youngest of nine children in an Irish-American Catholic family. He shares the same birthday as his sister Carol. One of his sisters, Judith McIntyre, is an actress. He attended the Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts he was cut from the basketball team by coach Dennis Tobin.
