John Joseph McGowan, better known only as John Joseph or as Bloodclot (born October 3, 1962) was the lead singer for the New York hardcore band Cro-Mags on most of their releases and also sang for the bands Mode Of Ignorance, Both Worlds, Fearless Vampire Killers and Bloodclot. He recently wrote a book, The Evolution of a Cro-Magnon, about his life and experience with the Cro-Mags.
