Biography John Norum
Norwegian hard rocker, Europe co-founder and current axeman, he's following
also his solo project. Born in Norway, he grew up in Sweden where he
currently lives, after several years spent in USA, where he knew and
married Michelle Meldrum (founder and lead guitarist of the
Swedish-American heavy metal band Meldrum), who gave birth to his son Jake
Thomas in 2004. Besides Europe, John Norum played also in the Eddie Meduza
& The Roaring Cadillacs band, the Dokken and the Don Dokken band. Many
collaborations with Artists of international fame, Glenn Hughes among them.
Biography
Early years John Norum was born on February 23rd 1964 in Vardø, at the
extreme northeast corner of Norway on the Barents Sea, only 40 miles from
the Russian border, near the entrance to the Varangerfjord. When he was 1
