Johnny McEvoy (b 24th April 1947) is an Irish singer of Country and Irish
genre born in Banagher, County Offaly, Ireland.
He was part of a duo called "Ramblers 2", and has been in the
entertainment circuit since the 1960's.
Hits He is most famous for the song "Nora", sometimes known as "Maggie",
though his most famous hit was Mursheen Durkin, with which he hit No 1 in
the Republic of Ireland.
