Jonezetta is an indie band from Clinton, Mississippi, which has released an EP and a full-length album since their formation in 2002. History Jonezetta formed when its four members were still in high school. Singer and guitarist Robert Chisolm, lead guitarist Kyle Howe, bassist Ty Garvey, and drummer Mick Parsons chose their name in homage to a clown who performed at three of the members birthday parties growing up. They claim this clown of Mexican origin would utter "Jonezetta" or a close variation in a distinctly Mexican accent instead of the traditional abra ca dabra. Growing up in a small town, the members did not expect to pursue a career in the music business. Despite their faith, their fan base continued to grow in the local music scene.
