Jordan Lynne Pruitt (born on May 19, 1991 in Loganville, Georgia), is an American pop singer and songwriter signed to Hollywood Records. She is a Christian and started writing Christian songs at the age of 9. She has been singing since the age of four. She started singing in church. Her father was the music minister. She has three dogs and two cats. She performed for years around the Atlanta area.

Career

Jordan Pruitt was discovered when she was 13 years old by a producer in Franklin, Tennessee. Soon she relocated to Franklin, Tennessee. Her debut single, "Outside Looking In," was featured in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Read It and Weep; it also appeared on the album Girl Next. She covered the Sister Sledge hit "We Are Family" for the movie Air Buddies and her newest single "Jump to the Rhythm" was featured in the Disney Channel Original Movie Jump In! . Her debut album, No Ordinary Girl, was released on February 6, 2007. The album debuted and peaked at #64 on the Billboard 200 with 14,000 copies sold in its first week of sales.

Jordan was a singer on the Radio Disney Incubator tour, a special guest opening act on The Cheetah Girls' The Party's Just Begun Tour, and was the opening act for The Concert. She toured summer 2007 with The Jonas Brothers, Drake Bell and Corbin Bleu. She is also a songwriter and co-wrote all of the songs on the album No Ordinary Girl, except for "We Are Family".

She has started writing her second album, and is said to release it May 2008. The release month is not official.
